Dr Nirupam Gupta

 

MD. FRACGP. MRCGP (UK) DRCOG, Dip Dermatology 

Dr Nirupam has worked in the UK for over 10 years and moved to Australia in 2014. He believes strongly in holistic patient care. He has done a Diploma in Dermatology and also in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

His special interests include: Chronic Disease Management, Medical Education, Children's Health, Minor Surgery and Dermatology. He is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer with the UOW Graduate School of Medicine.

Dr Gupta enjoys spending his weekend cycling, playing badminton and loves to travel.

He fluently speaks English, Hindi, Urdu, Russian and Polish.  

Currently working at the Practice Monday all day, Tuesday afternoons, Thursday all day and Friday mornings.

Dr Larysa Skrypnyk

 

MBBS, FRACGP

Dr Larysa has a special interest in patient Mental Health, Women's Health, Antenatal Care, Implanon insertion and removal as well as general medicine.

She speaks English and Ukrainian. 

Currently working at the Practice Monday all day, every second Thursday morning only and Friday all day - her books are closed to new patients.

 

 

Dr Jeff Wang

 

BMed/MD, FRACGP

Dr Jeff graduated from the University of New South Wales and trained at Concord Hospital, Canterbury Hospital and Broken Hill Hospital for his junior doctor years. He has completed his GP specialty training in the Illawarra and has decided to stay in the area. 

His special interests include skin cancer medicine, minor procedures (e.g. Implanon insertion, wedge resection for ingrown toenails) and kid's health. 

He is also interested in medical education and he is an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at UoW. 

When he's not at the practice, you can probably find him cycling, at the local parkrun, or tending to his worm farm.

He speaks English and Mandarin.

Currently working at the Practice every Tuesday and Thursday.

Dr Zainab Khochaiche

FRACGP,BMed/MD

Dr Zainab Khochaiche has recently relocated to Wollongong, after completing her GP training in Port Macquarie. Before that she worked at Liverpool Hospital for 3 years, across various specialities.

She enjoys all aspects of General Practice including the prevention, diagnosis and management of chronic diseases (with an emphasis on using food and exercise as medicine), gynaecology (including managing hormone replacement therapy in peri-menopause/menopause), men's health, mental health, dermatology and more.

In addition, she has completed the following training in some areas that are of particular interest to her:
- Extended Skills Training in skin cancer medicine and surgery
- A diploma of child and adolescent health through the University of Sydney in collaboration with Westmead Childrens Hospital
- Antenatal Shared Care Course, to allow her to support her patients in the management of low-risk pregnancies
- Mental Health First Aid and IAR-DST Training
- Certification for Implanon insertion and removal, and IUD removal

Outside of work she enjoys time with her husband and pet budgies, walks on the beach, Pilates and cooking for family and friends.

Her days at City Medical Wollongong will be Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

She likes to offer her patients longer appointments to start to allow us to build familiarity and trust, and for her to be able get to know them really well.

Dr Anna Li - GP Registrar

BMed/MD

Dr Anna Li graduated from the University of New England and has worked at Royal North Shore Hospital and Ryde Hospital in the areas of paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, general medicine and emergency. She has also worked at a rural GP clinic in Parkes.

She enjoys all aspects of general practice with a special interest in paediatrics, mental health, antenatal care and women's health.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and looking for new places to eat.

Dr Anna Li works full time at the Practice Monday to Thursday and every second Friday.

She speaks English and Cantonese.

 

Dr Harender Saroha

Dr Harry has a special interest in patient Mental health and wellbeing, Skin cancer Checks including procedures and Chronic Disease Management.

He speaks English, Hindi and Punjabi. 

Currently working at the Practice on Wednesdays.
